The challenge

The company was building a new marketing product and saw user experience as the way to win a larger share of its market. It had no product strategist and no UX lead to take the work on, so it brought in Verity for both roles.

The approach

Verity ran the work through its product strategy process, from assessing the market to development in sprints, and designed the product's user experience with the company's key stakeholders.

  1. Interviewed experts and users. Subject matter experts and users described their work and their needs.
  2. Mapped and ranked the features. A mind map of every candidate feature, then a prioritization matrix to find the ones with a high return for little technical effort.
  3. Iterated on the design. Concepts for the design direction were drafted and revised on a set cadence, each round taking in the stakeholders' feedback.
  4. Managed the work across functions. Business, design and technical schedules, scopes and resources, run as one plan.
